Input a simple description of what you want (e.g. "Giant tomato falling on stanford university"), and our AI will generate that a picture of that for you.

Like our AI content writers, these images are generated from scratch each time just from the inputs that you give it.

Our AI has learnt from millions of images and text all over the web and gained an understand on how to read and create relevant pictures. Think of it like a 5 year old child's brain. Each time you hit that Generate button, it doesn't copy or pull images from anywhere, but considers the concepts that it knows, and creates new images from scratch each time.

Anything you can imagine. We're creating a world where content creation is only limited by what you can describe, instead of having ideas be locked up in your head.

That being said, it's not great at generating faces. We're working on this. It turns out that humans are a lot more sensitive to discrepancies in faces, and it's a lot more challenging for AI to understand this. Try using 'realistic proportions' as a modifer when trying to generate faces.

Beyond that, try out any type or style of images you can imagine. Some examples of styles you can use: "Cyberpunk", "Pixel Art", "Photorealistic", "HD", "Cartoon", "Abstraction", and many more.

Have fun!

Just like our AI writer, every generation is done from scratch. Each time you hit that Generate button, it doesn't copy or pull images from anywhere, but considers the concepts that it knows, and creates new images each time.

While no service can guarantee uniqueness, the more detailed your prompt, the more likely your results will be uniquely yours. If you're worried about someone copying your design, don't be! There's always a chance that someone will use a similar prompt, but think of Hypotenuse as a helper to brainstorm and automate tedious tasks to stay creative.

The images you create are public domain, though you do not own the copyright. They can be used by anyone for any purpose, including commercial purposes. Feel free to use them for anything you like.

Not at all! Images take between 30s to 2 minutes to create.

Yes. Just because you can create something, doesn't mean you should.

Create content responsibly - we don't condone creating hateful, degrading, or otherwise harmful representations of people or their environments, cultures, religions, etc. Don't encourage discriminatory content or harmful stereotypes. And remember, it's never ok to pretend to be someone without their consent.

Be especially careful about sharing misinformation or fake news - it can do real damage. Remember: sharing representations of excessive violence and gore can be really disturbing for people. And finally, always be sure to ask permission before sharing copyrighted or licensed material. Sharing unauthorized alterations of copyrighted or licensed material is also a no-no.

With the ability to be wielded for harm as well as good, it is important to remember that AI in and of itself is not evil. Instead, it's our relationship with technology that needs to be balanced. We need to hold productive conversations surrounding the use of AI by humans, but we shouldn't be afraid to explore the possibilities of this technology, and push the boundaries of our creative expression.
